…why are you out of print, i need you skdfjdf
Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You’ll learn from them - if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It’s a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn’t education. It’s history. It’s poetry.
written by J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

I had this done about a month ago. It is the book cover to the book “The Catcher in the Rye.” This tattoo gives me hope. This tattoo IS my hope. I have been hospitalized multiple times for suicide and psychotic symptoms. This book has proven to me, more than multiple times, that there are people in my life that love me. People that have been there all along. After everything i have been through, i like to look at this tattoo and know that the pain i have endured was real. If i could survive the past year, i can survive anything. Thank you.

Want want want want want. Favorite book ever, of all time.
